Our design and planning process

From initial concepts and space planning, right through to product selection and installation, our team will guide you through and ensure your vision is achieved.

Initial consultation.

We’ll work together to understand what you want to achieve from the space.

Product selection.

Our team will use their expertise to advise and guide you through the suitable products and choose from the finish options.

Visit to site.

We’ll take photos, take measurements and discuss requirements, ideas and plans.

Fabric selection.

We make recommendations on which fabrics would be suitable for what you want to achieve both visually and practically.

Presentation of plans.

We’ll present 2D and 3D Floor plan drawings to ensure items will fit in the space and Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.

Install site visit.

We always arrive with our Project Completion Checklist. We oversee the install and thoroughly check all furniture has arrived correctly.

A bespoke design service

At ACS we have the style and substance as well as a wealth of experience you need for your workplace refurbishment project.

Whatever you have in mind for you budget, colour palette and fabric preference, our consultation and design service will make sure your requirements are catered for. Our free-of-charge technical drawings will even allow you to visualise your furniture in-situ before taking the plunge.

Our Specialists will also advise on colour schemes, provide inspirational mood boards and 3D renders and will ensure that your plans fully adhere to Health & Safety regulations.

Additionally, we can offer a bespoke service which means you can modify your existing space, taking advantage of our free 3D Drawing Service to visualise your space.

The brief

Appris approached us to assist with the refurbishment of several of their training rooms. Being a company who deliver Engineering Manufacture Apprenticeships and offer commercial courses in Management, Personal Development and Health & Safety, Appris were really looking for a modern update to their rooms that was in-line with the work they do, whilst being conducive to learning.

Our solution

Supplying all furniture, carpets, interior decorating and wall branding, simplicity was key in our design thought-process. We wanted to make sure the training rooms were as free from distractions as possible, to allow for an excellent learning environment.

Having contacted us during the pandemic, we also needed to make sure we kept social distancing and safety at the forefront of our plans.

We swapped out the original colourful décor in favour of a much simpler muted colour scheme and provided all office desks on wheels to allow for easy transitions between group and individual learning.
